Description

Drawing essentials! This set includes 1 Pierre Noire 2B pencil, 2 Graphite 2B and HB pencils, 1 Carbon 2B pencil, 1 Charcoal 2B pencil and 1 White pencil.

Crayons Esquisse et Dessin Conté à Paris guarantee the widest possible variety of drawing techniques and effects. Used by the greatest masters, but also by amateur artists, beginners and professionals in the Fine Arts, they are a benchmark in the field. These versatile pencils can be used for a wide range of lines and graduations designed for drawing.

The graduations range from H (Hard) for hardness to B (Bold) for softness. The higher the number, the harder or softer the pencil.

Pierre Noire pencils can produce all shades of black, and are intense, indelible and matt.

Charcoal pencils produce a dry, dense, intense black. Their advantage is that they are perfectly miscible with Sanguine and Sépia pencils.

The white pencil from Conté in Paris is mainly used with sharpened lead, the line is dry and the colour transparent.

A variation on traditional charcoal, the Carbon pencil from Conté à Paris is more resistant. Its lead is not crumbly and does not smear the fingers. Its fine, meticulous rendering means you can sketch any perspective or technical drawing (architecture, plans, etc.) with precision.

Crayon Graphite has a particularly silky lead that doesn't scratch the paper and glides pleasantly over the surface. The modern graphite lead, made from a mixture of clay and graphite, allows the hardness of the lead to be graduated.

Graphite lead is particularly silky, does not scratch the paper and glides smoothly over the surface.
