Highly luminous, they can be used in combination with Squares and Pastel Pencils.
The range consists of 50 colors matching the range of colors of the squares, available in sets of 10, 20, 40, and 50 pastels.
Their 10mm diameter allows for very colorful applications and mixed media techniques with acrylic, oil, gouache, and watercolor.

By holding the pastel upright or slightly tilted, you can apply successive layers of material using the edge to achieve maximum color intensity or the side of the pastel to achieve greater softness and transparency.
Soft pastels complement other Conté à Paris products perfectly: squares are ideal for quick sketches, while soft pastels can be used to add detail, texture, and depth to your drawings.
The best results are obtained with coarse or medium-grain paper, which can be colored for stunning effects.
