SKIMA DRAWING

Skima Drawing, whose real name is Maxime Thevenet, is a hyper-realistic artist born in 1994 in Burgundy. Passionate about drawing from an early age, he honed his technique at the Academy of Applied Arts in Dijon, where he learned to combine rigor and creativity.

In 2018, he decided to devote himself entirely to his passion and made hyperrealism his profession.

Skima explores the power of black, a color that, under his pencils, comes to life and reveals an infinite range of shades. He plays with light and contrasts to give his creations a unique depth, blurring the line between photography and illustration. Whether for portraits or scenes, he takes particular care to convey strong emotion through his work.

The secret behind Skima Drawing’s striking works? His unique mastery of Pierre Noire, whether in square stick or pencil form.
